It’s time you had an equal seat at the special education table and a support system by your side
You’re an expert on your child.

And you have meaningful information and input to share as your child’s teachers and administrators create a plan for their educational experience.

But sometimes you have a difficult time sharing your thoughts because there’s so much to understand about the special education process.

Sometimes you receive misleading information, evasive responses, or even blame…

Special education is just as difficult to navigate now as it was 20 years ago. And it hasn’t gotten easier for children, their parents, or their schools.

Colleen has worked with children with disabilities as a teacher’s aide, teacher, an early intervention therapist, BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), and a Clinical Director.

Throughout her 18 years in special education, she’s understood everyone’s perspective and has brought teams together to problem-solve across the table and meet a child’s individual needs.

Colleen became a special education advocate because she believes every child deserves a quality education—and that their parents shouldn’t be unsure how to participate in creating one that makes their child a top priority.
